KIBRIS (18.2.99) London correspodent Serhat Incirlik reports that the Kurdish girl, Nejla Kantepe (15), who set herself on fire in London to protest Ocalanīs arrest, went to London with her family in 1993 from the occupied village of Rizokarpasso in the occupied Karpass peninsula.

Her father, Suleyman Kantepe, went to London with his family in 1993 and asked political asylum from Britain..

The paperīs London correspondent does not mention the reasons why Kantepeīs father sought political asylum from British authorities nor does he mention from where the father arrived in the occupied area. (MY)
