[01] Stocks down on Wed. after 2-day rally
AMNA / Stocks ended lower in the Athens Stock Exchange on Wednesday,
reversing a two-day rally which pushed the composite index of the market
3.86 pct higher.
A negative trend in international markets and nervousness ahead of
the announcement of a new government in Greece dampened sentiment in
the market.
The composite index fell 1.61 pct to 767.11 points, off the day’s lows
of 754.46 points. Turnover was a low 60.837 million euros.
The Big Cap index dropped 2.75 pct, the Mid Cap index fell 2.37 pct
and the Small Cap index ended 1.08 pct lower. AMNA
