Governmental deputy spokesman Mr. Evagelos Antonaros said that he is against of lawsuits underlying: "Journalism has the freedom to ecercise criticism for every event as well as for every action taken by politicians and other people who are involved in public life. The right of expressing your view freely can not be disputed. Freedom of expression of everyone, either journalists, politicians or other citizens is an element of Democracy. The issues you mentioned and everyone saw unfolding yesterday can not be tackled with such practices. We do not agree with lawsuit submitted against a political leader just because he expressed political criticism."
