Meantime, the neighboring country proceeded to fresh provocative actions. After the letters sent by Prime Minister Mr. Gruevski regarding the Macedonian minority in Greece, the president of Parliament Mr. Trajko Veljanovski also sent letters of relevant content to the presidents of the Parliamentary congresses of international organizations. Athens calls on the neighboring country to enter the discussions with grievousness. Skopje president Mr. Branko Crvenkovski exercised severe criticism to Nikola Gruevski who asked for the recognition of the so called "Macedonian Orthodox Church" to be negotiated. "Issue Can be Resolved" UN special envoy Mr. Matthew Nimetz, after his meeting with Skopje delegates, Nikola Divitrov and Martin Protuger, said that the issue can be resolved. He also stated that "methods and ideas" were discussed during the meeting between the two countries but the "basic issue"-as he said- is "the name issue". Mr. Nimetz also underlined that there are "complicated issues" but believes that they will be resolved as soon as the name issue is resolved.
