    While Brussels is considering whether to give financial aid to Greece or not, Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou is due in Moscow. His trip to the Russian capital is part of his initiatives to have the Greek economy recovered. Papandreou will hold talks with Dmitri Medvedev and Vladimir Putin mainly on energy and economy matters.

    The Greek Premier is due in Moscow on Monday evening, while his talks with the Russian leaders are to kick off on Tuesday. He is meeting with President Medvedev at 1200 hours and with his Russian counterpart an hour later.

    A banquet will follow and after that the two Prime Ministers will make comments. Matters pertaining to energy and military cooperation are to run high on the agenda of the talks. A protocol for cultural and educational exchanges will also be signed between the two nations.
