O.T.E.: Telecommunications Engineering Positions in Boston

The "Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation (O.T.E.) S.A.", wishing to promote its relative Research Program, in line with the world-wide state of the art, is interested in employing two (2) qualified Engineers, specialized in telecommunications who will staff OTE's Office in Boston or Cambridge.

The Boston Office will be a link between OTE's R&D Department in Athens, Greece, and the emerging technologies in the area of telecommunications. Its major task will be the economic evaluation and justification of the new service incorporation into OTE's Telecommunication Networks in support of its domestic and international investments.

The candidates must have the following qualifications:

  • A formal postgraduate academic diploma (e.g., M.Sc., or Ph.D. degree or equivalent).
  • Extensive technical knowledge relative to new technologies and services as applied to Telecommunication Networks.
  • Background considering the commercial and financial impacts of employing specific new services and technologies in the Telephone and Data Network Domain.
  • Established relation in advanced scientific telecommunication projects with Research Institutes and Universities of the region.
  • An excellent knowledge of English and Greek.

Note: The evaluation procedure for the employment of the personnel will be conducted in two steps:

  1. First a pre-selection procedure will be followed, after careful consideration of the qualifications of the candidates as presented in their resume.
  2. The pre-selected candidates will be interviewed by OTE in Boston.
